Senior 3D Motion Designer
About the Role
Our Motion Designers bring every project to life, playing a pivotal role in delivering outstanding work that makes us proud. As a Senior 3D Motion Designer, you'll have the chance to push creative boundaries and set new standards within our agency.

We are looking for an artist who:
- Demonstrates experience leading projects from concept through to production and delivery.
- Has expertise in 3D and 2D projects and is proficient in 3D motion pipelines and their integration into 2D workflows.
- Strong understanding of storytelling fundamentals and skilled in developing concepts/treatments, styleframes, storyboards and animatics.
- Strong presentation and communication skills and confidence pitching to clients.
- Capable of supporting on multiple projects simultaneously, whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates bold creative thinking while paying close attention to crucial details.
- Is meticulous with a robust design background and up-to-date knowledge of current trends in motion and design.
- Adaptable team player who can adjust their creative approach based on project scale and requirements.
- Has a desire to push boundaries.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Expert level understanding of Cinema 4D, Redshift, AE, Adobe Suite
- Unreal engine / Houdini a bonus but not required.
- 7+ years experience delivering high-end CG content, working across the full pipeline from concept development to styleframing to compositing.
- A generalist, with a passion for art direction, technical or both.
- Up to date with current production workflows - organised and process-driven.
- Strong sense of design, up to date with current design and motion trends.
- Strong animation fundamentals, ability to work across multiple styles of animation.
- Comfortable working at pace to deliver quickfire R&D and Lookdev.
- Give direction and provide feedback when working with external talents.
- Ability to lead projects coordinating and directing mid-junior designers on a day-to-day basis.
- Serve as a mentor and role-model to junior motion designers on the team, supporting their personal development. Ensure they acquire and refine the necessary skills, tools, and processes to excel in their roles.
- Clear communicator, has to be able to liaise with the production/leadership team, and present work for review.
This role sits within our design team, responsible for the creative output of the agency across all of our projects. Above all, we share a common goal - making our studio a welcoming and collaborative environment.

- Role type: full-time and on-site. While we do have WFH days, this role is not remote.

- Team size: Internal team of 8 largely working out of our London office.
